Smart Card Status Online :
TNPDS (Tamil Nadu Public Distribution System) is converting all the existing ration cards to smart rations cards. The online applications for smart ration cards are received in the official website of tnpds.gov.in. We can check the card status online. The reference number provided at the time of registration can be used to check the Smart Ration card status. Here is the procedure for tnpds smart card status online.
Procedure to Check TNPDS smart card status:
You can check the smart card TNPDS card status in the official Tamil Nadu Public Distribution System (TNPDS) i.e. tnpds.gov.in. Just go to the tnpds website and enter the reference number that is given at the time of registration.
- Go to the site official website: Click Here
- Click on “ஸ்மார்ட்அட்டைவிண்ணப்பநிலை” link which is on the right side of the Tnpds website. If you want to change the language then click on the “English” on the top right side of the website. Now click on the “Smart Card Application Status” link.
Update (Covid-19 Lockdown relief)- Tamilnadu vulnerable ration cardholder families will get essential provisions like rice, pulses (dhal), cooking oil & sugar, free of cost for April and May month. Each rice cardholders will also get a cash assistance of Rs.1000/-. Keep reading for updates.
- You will be directed to a page where it is asking for your Tnpds reference number. Enter the reference number and click on the submit button.
- After you click on the submit button, your smart card application status will be shown on Tnpds.

The tnpds.gov.in is down since morning. No action taken. Can someone restart the server and check the firware connections and enable the website please?
