MSBTE Online Exam 2023 | Eligibility & Time Table

Maharastra State Government conducts MSBTE online exam. The official website to register for the exam is exams22.msbte.ac.in. The Board conducts this exam to assess students for joining the affiliated colleges.

MSBTE online exam:

MBSTE means Maharastra State Board of Technical Education. An autonomous board of the Maharastra State government conducts this exam. Through this exam, the government selects students for diplomas, Post Diplomas and advanced Diplomas in affiliated institutions. The exam is for diploma courses. Programs.

MBSTE was first formed in 1963, and in 1999 it got its autonomous status. The Board conducts exams in both Summer and winter. The summer exam is between April-May, and the Winter exam is between November- December. More than 20 colleges are under the Board with more than 160 courses.

History of MBSTE and MSBTE online exams:

The idea of having a separate education board for higher studies has existed for 60 years. Even before independence, some institutions provided diploma courses in Engineering colleges like the College of Engineering, Pune, Curson Wadia Institute of Technology, Veeramata Jijabai Technological Institute, Mumbai etc.

After knowing the importance of technical education, they started the Board for technological studies in 1943 at all levels. Later, the diploma courses rose. So they started MSBTE in 1963 under the Maharastra state government. For the selection of students, they conduct MSBTE online exams every year.

Functions of the MSBTE:

Through the MSBTE, many exams are conducted, and even MSBTE online exams are conducted. These are the functions of MSBTE.

• The detailed curriculum is designed for diploma, post diploma and advanced diploma courses.
•  Many institutes are affiliated with the Board.
•  To monitor the academic progress and curriculum through curriculum implementation and assessment norms (CIAN).
•  We are searching for skilled faculty and alloting them to teach the students in the institutions.
•  Conducts exams and releases the results.
•  Through this exam board, question papers are generated.
•  To provide real-time knowledge & projects to the students.
•  They are responsible for designing textbooks, lab manuals, labs, tools, instruments etc.,
•  Always updated about the new technologies which are helpful for the growth of the students.
•  Conducts many technical events like quizzes, presentations, seminars, workshops etc.
•  Issues merit-based scholarships.

Eligibility Criteria:

For MSBTE online exam, only a few category students are eligible. They are:

• The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
•  The candidate should be at least 17 yrs of age.
•  Must and should complete higher studies.

How to apply for the exam:

You can apply for the MSBTE online exam by following the steps:

• First, visit the official website www.mbste.ac.in. You will see ‘New registration’ and click on it.
•  Then fill in all the personal details like name, aadhar number. Email id, phone number etc.
•  Enter all your academic details like qualifications, marks, percentages etc.
•  Candidates should upload the required documents, passport-size photo and signature.
•  Next, you will see the payment option. Pay the fee, and your application is complete.

Even though MSBTE online exam doesn’t have any reservations for the exam, the application fee varies for different castes.

• Firstly, visit the government’s official website, i.e., www.msbte.org.in.
•  On the homepage, you will see the examination section; click on it.
•  You can see the winter timetable 2023 link and click on it.
•  The timetable is displayed on the screen.
•  Check the details. You can download the PDF by clicking on the download option.
•  If needed, you can also take a printout of it.

• Check the important link section for the hall ticket.
• Check the hall ticket for the winter exam 2023.
• Enter your enrollment no or seat no.
• Click on submit option. You will be redirected to the hall ticket.
• Check the details you provided on the hall ticket and download the hall ticket.
• You can also take the printout to carry to your exam.

Instructions to be followed:

While registering and writing the MSBTE online exam, you must follow the following instructions.

• Always be on time and report before 10 minutes to the exam centre.
•  During application, the details should match the details in the certificate.
•  The images you upload should be in sync with the portal.
•  Candidates are not allowed into the exam centre 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
•  Candidates should carry their hall ticket along with them.
