The Telangana government launched the employee Health Scheme (EHS) to provide cashless treatment to the state’s employees and pensioners. The health card is implemented by the Chief Minister for the state government employees who cannot afford the financial bills of hospitals.
Government employees, pensioners, and their dependent family members of Telangana can avail themselves of medical services for free in private and government hospitals all over the state.
All the retired and serving employees will come under the scheme. EHS card has no limit for services. Now employees no need to visit the government offices but can sit at their homes, apply online for a health card and avail the benefits of EHS Telangana.
The state government recently added working Journalists also into the EHS Telangana. Their dependent family members can also avail themselves of the card’s benefits.

How to Download EHS Telangana?
- To download the health card Telangana, employees must visit the official website of EHS Telangana.
- Click on the “Sign-in” option on the home page at the top right.
- Select and click the Employees/Pensioners option from the drop-down of Sign-in on the home page.
- A new page opens; enter the Employee ID and password. Again select employee/pensioners from the login type and click on login.
- Now click on download health care and take a printout for future reference.
How to Reset Password for EHS Health Card?
If the employee/pensioner forgets the password to log in, they can reset their password by following the below process.
- Visit the official website to reset the password.
- Click on the “Sign-in” option on the home page at the top right.
- Select and click the Employees/Pensioners option from the drop-down of Sign-in on the home page.
- A new page appears. Click on the “forgot password.”
- The instructions page opens. Click on the “click here to proceed” option.
- Enter the Employee Health Card ID, select the login type, and click on the “Go” option.
- Password will be sent to the registered mobile number.

How to Check Health Card Telangana Status?
- Employees who want to check their health card status visit the official website of the EHS card.
- Click on the health card status on the home page, under the list of Additional Information.
- Now click on Employee ID or Pensioner ID and click on the search option.
- The health card status will be displayed on the screen.
