About the Dalit Bandhu scheme:
Dalitha Bandhu’s scheme is mainly for the benefit of poor people in the backward classes. The poorest among the people with low income are on high priority. The Chief Minister implemented this scheme in Huzurabad and spread it out across the State of Telangana.
The Officials are asking to visit the Dalit areas and interact with the Dalit families to gather their views, ideas, and opinions about this scheme and prepare the rules and guidelines for the scheme.
Eleven thousand nine hundred Dalit families select from approximately 20990 eligible families. This selection is purely based on the eligibility and guidelines of the scheme.
CM KCR Garu held a meeting for 427 people of all genders from the Huzurabad Assembly constituency on July 26. These 427 members include two men and two women from each village and municipal corporation.
This meeting discussed the objectives and benefits and made them understand the implementation and monitoring of the Dalit Bandhu scheme.
Implementation of the Dalit Bandhu Scheme
KCR has introduced many schemes for Dalit empowerment, where beneficiaries must provide bank guarantees to benefit. But now, Dalit Bandhu does not require proof or bank guarantees to benefit under this scheme.
In the past, all the government schemes asked for bank guarantees, but how can a Dalit person have a bank guarantee to benefit under the scheme?
This is why it does not ask for or require Bank guarantees to get benefits. And this is not a type of loan for people with low income.
The beneficiaries must not pay back the amount received under this scheme. This scheme has no backdoor, and all the beneficiaries select without partiality or recommendations.
All the beneficiaries will get the amount directly to their accounts through bank transfer.
FAQS:
