Many households purchase this through distributors, which provide through the government and private sector. The government provides LPG subsidies to reduce the burden. The government gave a budget of Rs. 37,25,621 crores for this scheme. Through this, customers can get 12 cylinders per year at a subsidy price. The consumers have to pay the full price to the distributors and can get subsidies from the bank.
Ways to link Aadhar card for getting LPG Subsidy:
Customers must link their Aadhar cards to their LPG to get the LPG Subsidy. There are several ways to link the Aadhar card. they are,
- Through distributer
- Through IVRS

How to get LPG Subsidy?
If you want to get the LPG Subsidy, there to two ways to get one. They are,
With Aadhar:
You need to link the Aadhar card number to the LPG account for this process. Follow the below steps to apply for this Subsidy.
- Firstly, open the browser and visit the official website.
- On the homepage, under ‘forms,’ click on the ‘PAHAL joining form’ option. You will redirect to the application form.
- Now you need to download the form and get a printout of the form.
- Fill the part-A and part B in the form and attach all the documents required.
- Submit the application form to the distributor.
Without an Aadhar card:
- First, visit the official website in a browser.
- Then if you don’t have an Aadhar number fill out the form up to part-A and C.
- Attach all the documents like passbook, bank statement, distributer certificate form, blue books and cash memo.
- Then finally, submit the form to the LPG distributor.
Steps to check LPG Subsidy status:
If you want to check the status of the LPG Subsidy, you need to follow the below steps. They are,
- Open the official website.
- You must enter the 17-digit LPG ID and click on the submit option.
- After submitting the details, you can see the status on the screen.
- If you don’t know the LPG ID, tap on the ‘Click here to know your LPG ID’ option.
Check the status for Bharat Gas:
- Visit the official website of Bharat gas.
- Then click on the LPG’ tab that you see on the screen.
- Enter the Request ID and Date of birth.
- Click on Generate OTP.
- Click on submit and view the status of the LPG Subsidy.
The process to check the status of Indane Gas:
- First, you must open the official website of Indane gas in any browser.
- On the homepage, Enter your Mobile number.
- Enter your 17-digit ID number and aadhar number if you have an Aadhar card.
- You need to enter the distributer’s details if you don’t have an aadhar number.
- Click on proceed option to view the status.
Check the status of HP Gas:
- Visit the official website of the HP gas line.
- Click on Sign in, or else, if you are a new user. Click on New user.
- On the homepage, For new users, enter your 17-digit LPG ID number and mobile number.
- Or else you can enter the distributer’s details.
- Click on proceed option to view the status.

People with a family income of Rs. 10 Lakh or above are not eligible for this Subsidy.
