About Deendayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Parivar Suraksha Yojana
Deendayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Parivar announced Deendayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Parivar Suraksha Yojana as a financial disability for family members whose annual income is less than Rs 1.80 lakh.

A new scheme called Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Parivar Suraksha Yojana, as confirmed in the Parivar Pehachan document, has an annual income of Rs. 1.80 lahks aimed at providing financial assistance in case of death of a member of the family – natural or accidental or permanent disability or the Family Information Data Repository (FIDR) database.
Financial assistance varies depending on the age of the beneficiary. Also, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) Rs. 2 lakhs will also include.
Haryana Parivar Suraksha Nyas (HPSN) is the implementing agency for Deendayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Parivar Suraksha Yojana.
Yojana in Haryana Budget
The Finance Minister presented the Haryana Budget Speech 2023-24 on 23 February 2023, proposing introducing a new scheme called “Deen Dayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Parivar Suraksha Yojana. Family with annual income up to ₹1.80 lahks based on verified data in PPP”.
“The Deendayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Parivar Suraksha Yojana scheme provides assistance which varies according to the individual’s age at the time of death or permanent disability.
The proposed assistance is ₹ 1 lakh for up to 6 years of age, ₹ 2 lahks above six years of age, up to 18 years of age, and ₹ 2 lahks for 18 to 25 years of age. ₹ 3 lahks for those above 25 years, ₹ 5 lahks for up to 40 years and ₹2 lahks for those above 40 to 60 years of age.
The benefit includes ₹2 lahks under PMJJBY, available only in the 18-40 age group.
Claim Procedure for Deendayal Antyodaya Parivar Suraksha Yojana
Details about the claims process, the beneficiary, or the claim should be filed through the online portal of Deendayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Parivar Suraksha Yojana within three months of an accidental or natural death permanent disability, the CM said.
Further, in case of death, the amount of assistance is paid to the head of the family in their bank a/c registered in the PPP database.
Amount of assistance under Yojana
Under the Deendayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Parivar Suraksha Yojana, the state government provides assistance based on the age of the deceased or permanently disabled person. The amount of assistance under Deen Dayal Upadhyay Antyody Parivar Suraksha Yojana is as follows:-
- Up to 6 years – Rs. 1 lakh
- 6 to 18 years – Rs. 2 lakhs
- 18 to 25 years – Rs. 3 lakhs
- 25 to 40 years – Rs. 5 lakhs
- 40 to 60 years – Rs. 2 lakhs
- The benefit amount is Rs. 2 lakhs under PMJJBY, available only for 18 to 40 years old.
Eligibility of Deendayal Upadhyaya Yojana
The following persons will be eligible for Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Parivar Suraksha Yojana:-
- Candidate must be a permanent citizen of Haryana.
- Applicant should be related to a BPL candidate belonging to any category.
- The applicant’s name should be in the BPL list, or income should be less than 1.80 lakhs.
- The beneficiary’s family income is Rs. 1.80 lahks per annum, as verified in the Family Information Data Repository (FIDR) database.
- Beneficiary has Family ID/Parivar Pehachan Patra (PPP) number.
- Beneficiary age above five years and up to 60 years of age.Permanent resident of Haryana.

Claim Procedure for Deendayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya
- The claim had filed by the beneficiary/claimant through the scheme’s online portal within three months of the accidental death/natural death/permanent disability.
- In case of death, the amount of assistance paid to the head of the family in their bank account is registered in the PPP database or linked to the Aadhaar number of the head of the family.
- In case of permanent disability, the amount of assistance will pay to the beneficiary in his bank account registered in the PPP database or linked to the head of the family’s Aadhaar number.
- In case of death/permanent disability of the head of the family in PPP, the amount of assistance will be paid to the family’s eldest member below 60 years of age in the PPP database.

- First, visit the Haryana DAPSY portal.
- Fill in the Parivar Pehchan Patra PPP ID and get the OTP.
- Fill in all the required details as per the application form.
