Atal Yojana will increase the water level in 8353 water-stressed gram panchayats of these states. For the successful operation of this scheme, a budget of 6000 crores was set by the Government of India. 

This budget will be spent under Atal Bhujal Yojana, and the government will contribute 3000 crore rupees.

The Government of India has insisted on successfully operating these states in 7 states, and seven states: Gujarat, Karnataka, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. There is a lot of water problem in these states.
