The company was set up in 1995 as a Collective Investment Scheme (CIS). For the next 20 years, the company lured several lakh customers on the promise that their investment would return to them with higher returns.
Government Help for Agri Gold Victim
The Andhra Pradesh Government, in a rare move, has announced the release of ₹263.99 crores as the first instalment of compensation to help 3,69,655 Agri Gold victims who have deposits less than ₹10,000.

- The recipient should be a permanent resident of the state of AP.
- The applicant should suffer from agrigold.
- If the applicant already got ₹10,000 in the first stage of the scheme, they are not eligible.
