The farmers cultivating the fields have to register for insurance every season. They have to record the crop and season in the year in the Karshak web portal.
The farmers must register their crops in the Krishak portal to get crop insurance when lost. So, the process of registering the crops for insurance is as follows.
There is no online registration available for people. Farmers have to register the crops offline in the Agricultural offices. They must carry the seed purchase slip, Aadhar Card and Land papers to register their crop online at the agricultural office.
So, the Agricultural officers will verify the crop and then register them under the AP Crop Insurance program.
Crop Insurance AP Objectives:
The Scheme’s primary objective is to provide crop insurance coverage to all state farmers. All-natural calamities, such as heavy rains, droughts, and cyclones, will be covered under this Scheme. The government will compensate farmers for crops lost due to these natural disasters.
There is no premium for the farmers under this Scheme. This insurance scheme will protect them from financial difficulties. The Scheme’s implementation will also offer more transparency to the system.

Benefits of AP Crop Insurance:

- This insurance scheme would cover crop loss due to natural calamities under this Scheme.

- There is no premium for the insurance scheme for Farmers.
- The Scheme has a one-time enrollment fee of Rs one.
- The government will reimburse the claim amount by directly putting the amount into the farmer’s bank account under the YSR free Crop Insurance programme.
- The government will contribute Rs 1252 crore to the Scheme.
- Farmers will benefit from this Scheme in the amount of 9.48 lakh.
- This Scheme has around 49.80 lakh farmers registered.
- Around 10641 Rythu Bharosa Kendras will assist in the Scheme’s implementation.

- Click on the link to get another menu with the options.
- Click on the “Input subsidy and insurance abstract” option link.
- You will get the reports page.
- Click on the particular district and select your Mandal to get your Mandal report on the next page.
- With this report, you can only check the number of sanctioned and pending applications.

You can also check the bank balance and the transactions to know whether the insurance amount is in your account.
How to check My Land Details?
You can also get the details of your agricultural land in the following way by using Khata Number or Survey number. The steps for getting the details are as follows.
- Visit the official website of AP crop insurance.
- On the home page, you can find the Search option.
- Click on that link, then select the district and other details and search or search by entering the survey number.
- Your agricultural land details will appear on the screen and your crop details.
AP Crop Insurance Beneficiary List:
The Farmers of Andhra Pradesh can check the beneficiary list for the particular season o know whether they are eligible for insurance. The process of checking the beneficiary list is as follows.
- Visit the official website of AP crop insurance.
- The reports tab is under the menu options on the home page.
- Click on that, and you will find a report about the beneficiaries.
- Open the report and then check your name in the list.
Procedure to Check Payment Status
- Visit the bank branch with your passbook.
- You must print your passbook.
- You can print your passbook yourself or have it printed by a Bank.
- You can also go straight to a bank official with your account number and inquire about the YSR Free Crop Insurance Scheme payout amount.
- They will notify you whether you have received the amount.
