Objective
Jagananna Amma Vodi was launched on 9th January 2020 by AP CM.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. It provides financial support to every mother or any recognized guardian in the mother’s absence who is below the poverty line to provide their children with Intermediate Education (Class 1 – Class 12). This scheme is provided to everyone irrespective of caste, religion, creed and region.
Eligibility for jagananna amma vodi Scheme
- Irrespective of caste, creed, religion and region, classes I to XII (Intermediate) are eligible for Amma Vodi.
- For the mothers/guardians to send their children to schools, Andhra Pradesh gives financial assistance of Rs 15000 per year.
- The beneficiary will get funds directly to their bank accounts.
- The children must have a minimum of 75% attendance to qualify for the scheme.
- In this scheme, there should be a valid Aadhaar card for the child and mother and a valid bank account in the mother’s name.
- If the child discontinues the study session in the middle of the academic year, he will not be avail of the scheme.
- The children studying in all the below schools/colleges are eligible.

- The application mode is offline for the convenience of rural families. We will get an enrollment form from the official website.
- The applicants must take the registration document’s printout and fill it with the required details.
