State Scholarship Portal (SSP) is a Karnataka online portal that provides scholarships and financial aid for its students. SSP Scholarship Last Date for Application
Students studying from class 1 to class 10 will get a pre-matric scholarship. Students who have completed their matriculation, want to further their studies, and do not have a financial position will get a post-matric scholarship. Eligibility for Post-Matric Scholarship
- SC students whose family annual income must be less than 2.5 Lakh are eligible.
- ST students whose family annual income is less than 2.5 Lakh are eligible.
- The students whose family annual income is between 2.5 And 10 Lakh are eligible for the medical department.
- Minority students whose annual family income must be less than 2 Lakh for post-matric; merit cum means the income must be less than 2.5 Lakh are eligible.
- Students who fall under technical education must have an annual income between 2.5 Lakh and 10 Lakh from an SC/ST family.
- Students who fall under Army/Defence/Navy families serving as NCO, JCO, or other below-ranking defence scholarships.
- Brahmin students’ annual family income must be less than 8 Lakh, and they are eligible.
- Disabled students from SC/ST/BCM/Brahmin/General are eligible without income restrictions.
- Students from Backward classes under category-1, 2A, 3A, 3B, & other OBCs whose income is less than 2.5 Lakh for cat-1 and less than 1 Lakh for different categories are eligible.
How do you create an account on the SSP Portal for a post-matric scholarship?
Students applying for post-matric scholarships in the portal must create an account.
- Students must visit the official website: ssp.postmatric.karnataka.gov.in.
- Click on the Create account on the home page.
- Now select the scholarship type from post-matric and pre-matric.
- A new page opens; enter the SATS ID and click the get data option.
- All the students fetched from SATS will display, again, click on the “save & proceed” option.
- A pop-up image on the screen indicates SATS details will be displayed; now click the yes option. If the entered details are incorrect, click the No vote and contact the concerned school for correction.
- Now, enter the mobile number and click on submit.
- OTP generates to the mobile number, enter the OTP and click on the submit option again.
- Again, a new page opens; students must create the password and click the submit option.

- Students must log in after creating an account in the SSP portal.
- Visit the official website of ssp.postmatric.karnataka.gov.in.
- Click on the student login option on the home page.
- Enter the login ID and password, and click on the login option.
How do I apply for the Pre-Matric Scholarship in Karnataka on the SSP Portal?
- Students applying for a pre-matric scholarship must visit the official website.
- Click on the apply for pre-matric scholarship link on the home page.
- Now click on the student login.
- A new page for the student’s account will open.
- On the Student’s home page, a feature of the Aadhaar option is included, and students must click on yes; if the Student and parents both have an Aadhaar card are there, click on the “proceed” option.
- Enter the Aadhaar details correctly and click on yes if they are correct.
- Aadhaar authentication will happen; after that, complete the profile by filling in the certificate details.
- After filling in the details, click the “save & proceed” option.
- Now provide whether the Student is a Day scholar/hosteller.
- Again, fill in the student’s and parent’s contact details, and click the “save & proceed” option.
- Now, fill in the details of the domicile and the previously availed scholarship, if any.
- If available, upload the student’s photograph and click the submit option.
- Finally, students will receive an acknowledgement of the scholarship; applicants can print it out for future use.

Application Process for Post-Matric Scholarship Karnataka
- Students must visit the official website to apply for a post-matric scholarship.
- Students must create an account; if already started, click on the select scheme and caste category.
- Now fill in the Aadhaar details; if Aadhaar is not available, click on the students’ EID numbers.
- Provide the contact details of students or parents, such as mobile number, email ID, etc.
- Also, fill in the ration card details for the student’s family.
- Now, students must log in to the SSP portal.
- Now click on the apply for post-matric scholarship link.

- Also, provide the Aadhaar details of the parents and students and course details.

- Click on the “track students scholarship status” on the home page.
- Enter the SATS identification number of students and financial year, and click on the search option.
- The SSP student status report will appear on the screen.
FAQs
An applicant must be a citizen of Karnataka, and the annual family income in the case of PMS should not exceed two lakhs. The annual family income in the case of MMS should not exceed 2.5 lakhs.
The government will offer an SSP scholarship based on the groups. Below are the post-matric rewards for various groups: Group A courses – INR 3,500 per annum. Group B courses – INR 3,350 per annum
